From Passion to Action: How to Talk People into Drinking Your Beer by John Holl, Senior Editor of Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine and long-time industry commentator and podcaster. John will speak from his upcoming book, focusing on communicating your beers and your company to impact sales and general perception. Holl has chronicled the beer industry for more than a decade.

Button Up: New Winds Blowing by Christopher Shepard Senior Editor of Craft Beer News, the craft-focused newsletter from Beer Marketer’s INSIGHTS. Chris will look at what the data is telling us about how to survive and thrive in the market post-legal cannabis and post-craft beer boom. Beer Marketer's INSIGHTS has been the leading source of information about the US beer industry for over 40 years.

Our third guest is Crystal Luxmore, an Advanced Cicerone, Prud’homme Beer Sommelier, Beer Judge and journalist. Crystal talks about brewing trends and writes for The Globe & MailenRouteThe Sun newspapers, Canadian Business, LCBO.com and more. Crystal will be offering a sensory workshop Building Your Flavour Vocabulary on March 13th. This event is current full, so we are looking at adding a second session.

Finally, we are pleased to welcome Susan Welch, President of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas. Susan is the Executive Director of the Washington Distiller's Guild, with over 30 years' experience in the malt industry.

The entire brewing value chain will find value in ACBC:

Brewers from across Alberta will attend, and we have sent an invitation to brewers from guilds and associations across Canada to attend at ASBA member rates.
