Jill has worked in advertising and design, in New Zealand and Canada, for over 25 years, on everything from brand identity to ad campaigns to website development to packaging (one of her favourite things). Jill moved to Calgary in 2010 and was a proud partner at Daughter Creative for almost 9 years, working on lots of beer (The Establishment, Annex, Big Rock, Tree Brewing, and Cabin Brewing) and winning some awards (Crushies, Ad Rodeo Anvils, Applied Arts).
Exiting Daughter in 2025, Jill now has her own solo brand consultancy (Nice One) and still manages all design work for Cabin, working with talented freelancers.
She definitely judges books (and beers) by their covers and has been a packaging judge for the Canada Beer Cup for the last two years.
