Mitch Warner is an Owner and Head of Brewing Operations at Dageraad Brewing in Burnaby, British Columbia. He leverages his technical expertise, comprehensive palate, and passion for world cuisine to craft complex and memorable flavour profiles. Mitch has been an active member of the B.C. brewing community since 2009.
Joining the panel for Wild Wood Swings: Active Barrel Management for Brewers & Distillers, Mitch brings his extensive knowledge of brewing expressive, yeast-forward Belgian-style beers, over 11 years of experience blending and wood-aging beers, and hands-on experience running a mixed fermentation project alongside clean beer production. He takes a creative approach to all of Dageraad’s specialty projects, combining unexpected materials, ingredients, and techniques to create Dageraad’s award-winning barrel-aged and mixed-fermentation programmes
