Richard is cofounder and CEO of Escarpment Laboratories, a yeast producer based in Guelph, Ontario. With a Masters of Science in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Guelph, Richard leads Escarpment’s R&D and product development. He specializes in yeast innovation for craft brewing and has published research on topics including kveik yeast, hybridization, and Brettanomyces. His favourite beer styles are German Pilsner and Saison.
